I've been thinking

AP Bio
AP Physics
APUSH
AP Calc BC
English 3
Spanish 3

Honors english is really really tough at my school with about ten hours of homework per week. I thought it would be best to focus on my other classes, but will that look bad when applying to college?

I also though about maybe taking AP Computer science and taking physics senior year but then I probably wouldn't be able to fit in AP Chem senior year? Would colleges rather see physics or computer science? My counselor told me they really like girls in computer science but I'm not sure...

you can take seven classes at my school, but only about half the kids do. I'd be getting out at 2:10 instead of 3:05 like I am now. But I kind of need to because I keep missing class for my sport right now and it sucks. Will that look bad?

I want my schedule to be rigorous and competitive for an ivy league and I'm not sure this is hard enough... But I'm kinda lost so any help? *

Don’t double up in sciences… (unless you’re like a genius)
It will kill you…

Take AP Comp Sci… It’s a blow off class (well at least in my school it is).
Umm how were your grades so far? All A’s? If you’ve been doing well in other AP classes I would recommend taking atleast
Ap Bio
AP Calc BC
APUSH

You don’t have an AP English course at your school? What a Shame… (actually you’re lucky cuz I fail in that class…)
I think you shouldn’t take Honors English if it will drastically decrease your grades.
Wait… You haven’t taken AP chem yet? If that’s the case, screw AP physics over and take AP chem and a regular Physics class. I would think AP Chem will help you out in the long run since you are an aspiring doctor (I assume…).

Anyways… I’m basically taking the same classes you are thinking about… And it’s not that bad… It’s just a lot of work to keep up your A’s…
Yea… So GL… Sorry if I’m not being clear here…

Okay so here’s the thing. I have straight A’s as of now, but I moved the summer between my freshman and sophomore year. The prerequisites were all messed up and they wouldn’t let me in to any APs. So even after begging for like days I ended up with none this year (and no one can take AP chem till junior year anyway chem is a prereq an bio is a prereq for that). So I only have a 4.0. I feel like I cant take any more regular classes (like regular physics) because as is with 4 APs I’ll only get a 4.33 overall college gpa for sophomore/junior year at best which is already low.

And yeah my school only has AP Lit for seniors. The English classes at my school are insanely hard. It’s a top public school and all the classes are really tough already but I heard AP isn’t really that much harder here. I mean I already get like 45 minutes of homework a night per class and APs are only around an hour to an hour an a half I guess so I think I’ll live.

Anyways I think I’m leaning toward physics and computer science? Computer science is pretty easy so that’ll probably make my life a little easier.

Oh and no I don’t want to be a doctor maybe physics of some kind? Or research? Something in that field(:

If you want to go into Physics, then you should take AP Physics and AP Comp Sci over AP Bio.
AP Chem wouldn’t be a bad idea either. And no matter how tough your English Class is, I would advise taking it, because English will be used in pretty much every subject in college.

One other thing. If you’re not aspiring to be a doctor, why did you post in this forum? This is the Pre-Med and Medical School forum.
