Hey, I really need help, I can’t figure out how to post could you help me please?

can anyone help me please…

If you go to Valencia aren’t you already automatically accepted to UCF.

Just get the best GPA you can get. The 2.0 GOA is the minimum requirement. A 3.8 is a solid GPA.

yea i attend Valencia, and yea its a program called direct-connect to UCF with a 2.0 GPA

i just want some thoughts?
And or people who used this program?

can anyone else help me…

Try Calling UCF and talk to someone there for more information. Or someone at about your Community College

FutureUCFstudent, if you are at Valencia, then there should already be a UCF advisor on campus that you can talk to. With DirectConnect, you are guaranteed admission into UCF, with a minimum GPA of 2.0. However, bear in mind that the degree program you want to transfer into may be ‘limited’ or ‘restricted’ and you might have to apply to that college program to get in. Regarding your GPA, the higher the better, especially if you are going into business, where there are prerequisites of macro and micro economics, and accounting, to name a few, where if you don’t have solid math skills you might find difficult. Make sure you pick your classes carefully at VCC to ensure they are fulfilling the requirements to transfer on to UCF. You need to go to the UCF website, find the degree program you want, and print it out so that you have the entire degree requirements in hand (and remember the catalog changes from year to year). While it is true that a state university has to accept all your credit if you transfer with an AA degree, they still might require certain entry level classes before a second or third year class. If you have more than 45 (I think) credit hours, you should be flagged by VCC and invited to a UCF transition workshop - even if you are not formally in the DirectConnect program. There is also a phone number for the VCC/UCF advisor - 407.582.5500. I am a parent of a student who is (I hope) transferring to UCF with AA degree but under slightly different circumstances.

What school, does your child attend Cairde

Sorry, didn’t see question - attending BCC, but as dual enrolled. There is a UCF office on each BCC campus right at the advising center, so should be one at VCC.

I’m currently working to earn my A.A however still need a math class to complete. From what an advisor has told me is to complete all or most of the pre-reqs for your paticular business degree such as Economics, Acounting, Math and also Golden Rule courses. Also your GPA is important as you’re entering a pool of applications which might be competitive. What semester are you trying to enroll in?
