Transfer questions/chances!?

Hello, I'm a student at FGCU and am wishing to transfer for either summer/fall 2014. I currently have a 3.8 GPA with 18 credits. Next semester I will be taking 17 credits so my total credits after my first year will be 35; I estimate that my GPA will be around a 3.75. I know that UCF requires transfer students with less than 60 credits to meet their freshman requirements. I received a 3.3 GPA and a 1480 (3 score) SAT in High School. I know that this doesn't exactly meet their requirements, but I am hoping that they will weigh my 35 college credits more than my high school stuff. I know most will say to wait till I get my 60 Credits (AA) to transfer and I will definitely get in, but I can't because FGCU does not offer the prerequisite classes for my major (Information Technology). So, it will be better for me to transfer sooner.

QUESTIONS
- Would I have better chances of getting accepted in the summer or the fall?

What are my chances of getting in? (Be honest please)

Can I do anything to help my acceptance?

How do you like UCF?

Thanks for the help!

bumpppppppppppppppp

My suggestion to you would be to contact an admissions representative and ask specific questions. This would show your interest and help you get a plan in place to be able to transfer. Anything people on CC say would just be a guess, as your situation is rather specific to you. Advice from someone more official would be best.

I do not know your chances. One way to increase your chance of being accepted would be to retake and score higher on a standardized test. Hopefully you have taken more English/Writing and Math classes since you last tested, which should improve your scores. Good luck!
