Help Me Please!!!!

Hi, I'm a clueless applicant to UW and I need to know what specific things that I need to specify to be on track for the UW medical school. I searched for a Pre-med major in the university's online application, but lone behold, it wasn't found. Instead, I found several majors, many of which had to do with biology (is that close enough to medicine???). I also found MEDEX degree program of which I have no clue. Please help me! Thanks!

I will be applying admittance in the autumn of 2009

Pre-med isn't a major, its a set of required classes for admittance to med school. It usually consists of 2 semesters of Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Calculus. You can major in anything as long as your complete those pre-requisites for med school. It is easier though if you are a science major because many of those classes are already in the pre-requisites for your major. The most common majors are Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, etc.

so what is the MEDEX degree and degrees under professions in health?
