Essays:
Short essay is about the significance of the bond my dad and I were able to make through him coaching my youth soccer teams. Very personal. It actually made him cry, and he's quite the tough guy.

First essay was about experiencing Israelis' faith during a time of war while counseling for a camp in Israel this past summer and realizing the importance of faith in modern times. I was very proud of the product and feel it is very candid in expressing my thoughts.

The interest in studying at GU essay was less personal, but I spoke about why I enjoyed m government and history courses in high school and my interests in pursuing internships in DC, Middle Eastern affairs, etc.

I feel like I have a pretty good chance, but I'm still extremely anxious about waiting another month. Anyone care to tame my fears?

hey man im just as in the dark as you but... looks like you got a really really good shot... good luck... hopefully we'll both be unpackin our stuff there next year.

Sounds like you have a very good shot.

Thanks guys. The whole process has been a series of "yeah, I'll get in" and "I don't have a chance in hell" feelings. Georgetown is my top choice and I think I made that pretty evident in my interview (read: I said, "Georgetown is my absolute number one") so hopefully that'll persuade admissions.

how would that help u

any1 can say that

Your interests and stats are strong-you have done your best, and are entitled to "ask"...now its up to admissions...all you can ask of someone is their best. You have done that-now BREATHE!

Haha, oh, I know. It was only for psychological well being.

Public or private school? Cause if its public I have a feeling its either Whitman or Wooton...

Nah, I don't go to either of those, although I wouldn't mind going to Whitman.
