Alright, I'm a caucasian female from New Hampshire (which automatically makes it hard to get in just about anywhere -___-) and I've spent my high school years at Phillips Exeter Academy. My SAT percentiles are M:95% V:96% and W(doesn't really matter but):95%. I'm looking for a liberal arts education. I intend on majoring in Biology, since I'd like to pursue a career in Veterinary Science (large animals) or research biology.
My list right now is... a bit long, and a bit shaky. I was hoping someone could either help me cut down on a few schools, and/or help me add on schools that would be a good fit.

Bowdoin College
Carnegie Mellon University
Colby College
Cornell University
Dartmouth College
Duke University
Johns Hopkins University
Middlebury College
Mount Holyoke College (safety?)
Rice University
University of New Hampshire (financial safety)
University of St Andrews (Scotland) (better financial safety.)
Yale University (Early Action... along with the rest of the world T_T)

I'd rather not be in the middle of some huge city (unless the school is amazing, then I might consider it). I'm more for a rural school with access to urban areas. I'd also prefer small to mid-sized schools (no smaller than 1500, no larger than 10000 - obviously Cornell and UNH don't fit that... shhh).

If anyone has any suggestions, I'd deeply appreciate it.

2120, actually <_<
and I took the damn thing again... got exactly the same in math and verbal, and went down in writing... which was the only one I really wanted to go up TT

I think there are too many reaches and need to cut down. I know that Rice, CMU, and JHU are amazing schools but they are urban. (I think...) So I think Dartmouth, Duke, and Yale are reach schools that fit you better.

And yea, I would say that you are likely to get into Mount Holyoke and UNH. You only need about two schools for safety since you only need to get into one school to be safe. I would find more match schools.

I think Bowdoin and Middlebury (slight reach) and Colby (tilting towards safety) are match schools for you. Based on SAT scores, you are slightly above average, but with selective schools you never know. You can find apply to one or more match schools. I would apply to 10 maximum, but that's your choice.

if you are willing to make an exception for an urban area (though it isnt a nice area) I'de say U of Chicago. One of the best bio programs in the country, and it has a large enough core curriculum where you will get a solid liberal arts education. Also, you go to phillips exeter academy...i dont think being a white female from new hampshire is going to even hurt your chances at all considering you go to one of the HYPS of high schools.
