Will need financial aid

I want to study some sort of social science like economics or history. I'm open to LACs. Merit aid is a plus. Thank you!

Claremont McKenna college. If family income under $60,000 no loans and meets 100% need.

Holy Cross.

I was looking Into CMC before. It might be a little too far away for me though, as I’ve never been west of Minnesota lol. But college is, of course, the time for new experiences. I’ll investigate some more.

Anywhere in the Midwest that you’d recommend?

Macalester and Carleton have good aid.

Possibly some of these, with a good reputation for economics?

Michigan (in-state tuition, right?)
Minnesota (relatively cheap for out-of-state tuition)
Chicago
Northwestern
Stanford (reach, but generous with need-based aid)

*Will need financial aid

*

Will you qualify for the need-based aid that you need?

have you run any FA calculators to find out how much your family would be expected to pay?

Do you have a non-custodial parent?

I qualify for instate tuition at U of M.

I forgot to mention that my GPA is 3.99 UW and 4.39 W

Have not run FA calc before…probably should do that soon…

I do not have a noncustodial parent.

bumping this up

Let us know your EFC. You already have some great recommendations here.

Dartmouth
Colgate
Bucknell
Davidson

Thanks everyone!

Use this to get your EFC…

Use both methodologies…Federal Methods…and Institutional Methods.

make sure you have the numbers right from your parents. And use the “before tax” income…not the after tax income.
