<p>I have an essay question for a college that reads like this,</p>
<p>"how will you contribute to the diversity of our campus?"</p>
<p>It's a short answer, just a paragraph in length, but I'm really struggling with what to write. Any thoughts, suggestions?</p>
<p>what do you think differentiates you from 'joe college'? Why should they accept you? Do you have a special talent or a unique experience or just an enlightened attitude that will improve the campus in some way?</p>
<p>Yeah that's basically a hidden question for "What's unique about you?" Talk about your unique hobbies, but keep it from being one about community service (those are overdone) but also one that might imply that you're a loner. (Not that I'm implying you're a loner.)</p>
