ok, so if my parents are making their contribution from annual income, and NOT savings, I can leave 8a blank? And is it ok to just send in copies of income tax forms instead of bank statements?

Krux - i have an editable version and can email u, if u send me ur email add. I am online for another 6 hours and then will be gone for two weeks

Also, about ur question-
adides - what completed doc's are you going to send? You mean you'll get the bank officials signature on your CoF? How far away is your bank account?

So far I have sent them application and photocopies of bank statement. I plan to send them COF and audited financials from our accts.
My bank acct is spreaded around in 3 continents :(

i think so, mit_hopefulgirl... that's what i'll be doing anyway, except i'll also attach a photocopy of a bank certificate. like to show that for paying for the first year the money (as much as i can pay of it) is there

Just wonderin - how much on average are you guys saying youll be able to contribute to your college educations? I'm applying to Yale, Tufts, Macalester, Johns Hopkins, Vassar, etc, that are $35,000-$50,000 in total per year. I'll (my parents, that is) be able to contribute about $20,000 per year. Does that increase my chances of admission at non need-blind schools?

Oh, and anyone apart from adides know where to get an editable CoF?
