I recently checked my staus page and the $200 enrollment deposit paragraph was updated on there. How am I to pay an enrollment fee if I am still not told of which school I got into?

I think what that means is that because you are top 10%, you are in UT, but they haven't made a decision as to whether you are in your top choice major.

My older son had that same message two years ago. By the time they decided, he had already decided to go somewhere else. I think it p**sed him off that they weren't making a definitive decision.

Wharton, I went back to find your stats and it says top 5% and 28 ACT. From what the UT website says, McCombs fills 75% of the class starting with the top 1% and working down, then the last 25% is filled using a more holistic measure. I think the reason my son and some others have heard is because they are top 1%, basically auto admits to McCombs. With your 5% status, you may need to wait a little while before you hear. I know it is frustrating and crazy (I went through this with my older son two years ago). But, at 5% and a pretty good test score, you seem to have a really good chance of getting in. Just be patient! I also saw that you have already been accepted to Michigan! That is awesome :)!! Also, you have applied to Penn early decision - I will keep my fingers crossed for you and hope that you hear good news soon. This is a nerve wracking time for you and for all the other seniors out there! Keep the faith!!!
