So until like now I had no idea that I'll have to send midterms to some of the schools I'm applying to!! I did really bad on my first Chem II test, and I'll have second test coming up on the 10th of March which I'll need to ace. How important midterms are anyway?

Instead of worrying the importance of your midterm exams, why not put your time and energy to your study, trying to do well in them?

I got a C- from my first test and I'll have to get A from the next one to get at least B average for the midterm. I'm not worried about getting B altogether, but having a C in the midterm is making my app look baaaaaaaaaad...

Who cares about midterms? Its not apart of your transcript..

burgler, I do have to send midterm grade report to all the schools I applied to using CommonApp...

anselmo1,
Are you sure? The midterm report is not given as a download under Transfer applicants on the CA and not all schools that use the CA say that they require them.

I think most schools require midterm reports for transfer applicants. They aren't on the commonapp, I had to google search them for each specific college.

I think that the mid year report is only for freshman applicants. I don't think that transfer applicants need to submit one.

transfers dont unless they are specifically requested (ie if your close to being admitted or on the waiting list)
