Help, my AP Spanish teacher doesn't do zip.

During class, we just get told to read certain stories and then get essays, quizzes, random audio assignments, all of which the teacher grades without rubrics. Zero instruction so far this year. Needless to say, my grade is in danger, and I'm also very worried about the AP exam, which I intend to take and very much want a 5 on.

I'm generally good with languages (English isn't my first language), but the last few years in high school with our abysmal foreign languages department have been damaging. My grammar is pretty lacking, and I can barely hold my end of a conversation. I can read fairly decently, though.

Even knowing the nature of the teacher, I signed up because I'm actually interested in Spanish and know how useful it can be. I don't want to regret it, but it's certainly shaping up that way. Never felt so desperate in a course before.

Please help a girl out! Any advice? Resources?
