Help! Need advice!

hi; I'm a junior and will be graduating in 2010. I have a dilemma. Should I take the SAT in MARCH OR JUNE? My friends are all saying that I should take it in march and see how I do... they all decided to take their SAT in JAN and then one last time in MARCH. I feel pressured to take it. The thing is I feel as if I am not ready because I do very poorly in the math section. My math tutor says I should take it once in JUNE then study over the summer and take it again in OCTOBER. However I am afraid that I will loose early decision and action chances for the application process. Also I play a competitive sport over the summer that requires me to go to different states; I am afraid I will end up procrastinating and not study for the SAT. My friends are saying I should take it in MARCH because there is the new rule where the students who are current juniors are allowed to pick and add up their SAT scores. For example, if I decided to take the SAT 5 times I would choose the best critical reading, math, and writing sections out of the five times and add them all up then send the scores to colleges. Do the colleges see how many times you took the SAT? I was arguing with my friends that the new rule is pointless because wouldn't the colleges see that I took it 5 times and added up the best scores from the five times I have taken it?

PLEASE HELP ME! I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT TO DO! My friends are saying I should just take a chance, but I do not want to take it 3 times because the colleges might see that I have taken it 3 times. I would prefer to do well okay in the first time then BETTER on the second and stop there.
