Take March and/or June SAT?

So, I'm a junior and I haven't taken the SAT yet. So, considering that it is the last day to sign up for the march SAT, I am stuck between taking the March SAT or waiting for the June.

There are a few factors I am considering:
1. Whether I will be prepared by March (I think I can get above a 2100 at least but I'm aiming quite high)
2. If I do bad on the March, I get a chance to take it again in June. But If I do bad, some colleges will be able to see the first bad score.
3. If the curve will be easier during March or June.

Tell me what you think! I appreciate any advice! Thanks

I would suggest June.

You can take the SAT as many times as you want because of score choice. you send what you want to send to colleges, so it would not matter (well it costs like 75$ and your time).

I’d take both…

im a junior, i took em in dec and got a 770 in math and crappy on the other 2(mid 600’s)
now through my anger, i took em again in jan because i didn’t realize i couldn’t get the QAS services for dec. waitin for my jan scores tonight. and im going to take it again in may cause you can get QAS for may. if i don’t get above a 2250 in may, i’ll retake in oct so i can submit in time for colleges.

taking a later one doesn’t necessarily mean you’re gonna study more…lol trust me I did the same. after taking the Oct one, I decided to push it off until January to take it a second time and…didn’t study much. so yeah. March might be better also cause I heard that’s the best curve (i don’t know for sure though)

Actually another question I have: Relating to pyrodave’s post about getting scores to colleges after the oct. testing. Do most programs/colleges (even Early decision/action) get the October scores in time if you decide to take it during Senior year? Has anyone checked some of the dates and the colleges say that they need to be before the October testing?

Many universities will accept senior-year scores until the January test date. For EA/ED, most will accept November scores. But please refer to any specific university web pages for definitive answers.

Take the March one. The June one comes near APs, SAT II’s, and finals.
