<p>Hey all
I'm a senior in high school looking to apply RD to Bates and Macalester, I would possibly go EA II for one of them, but I need some informed information.</p>
<p>First, what are the professors, specifically in english + socioliogy/history like at these schools? I know they're both fairly prestigious, but I just need some informed opinions</p>
<p>Second, what is the music scene like at these schools? I know they have the typical ensembles, but do the majority of the students have a passion for music in some sense like the students at Oberlin, Bard, and Skidmore?</p>

<p>P.S. to give you an idea of what kind of student I am, I'm mainly into english/sociology, but I'm also a huge musician and im applying ED for Oberlin, second choice may be Skidmore/Bard.</p>
