I have the GPA I would need to be accepted into my school of choice, University of Alabama. Although, my ACT wasn't where I need it to be. With applications properly to be turned in by November, should I send in my applications with the faulted ACT score, or should I wait longer, retake the ACT and then apply?
Note: I have not taken the SATS.
Thank you.

It depends. If you have good ECs and your ACTs are a bit below average, then apply now and send your scores, you may get in. I don’t think this is a good idea, I suggest, if you’re applying regular decision, that you retake and apply now. Send the new ACT scores when they come. Most regular decision is due on Jan 1.

If you’re apping to a state school that is large it is better you apply before Dec 1, so send the app, essays, transcript, etc. and mention or send the ACT later.
