I need some serious advice. I got into CMU MSE and I got into Cambridge Physics with an intended professor. I have funding from CMU, stipend and tuition. I should find out soon, a close friend of one university professors is over there and is looking into what is going on, about funding from Cambridge, within the next couple of days.
Obviously if I don't have funding I don't go to Cambridge; I can't afford it (~40-50K a year). If i do get funding, should I go? I mean does anyone turn down Cambridge? Would it be incredibly stupid of me? I just really need advice on what to do. I would have to go with just a large suitcase and that's about it. I don't mind going over seas, I spent a semester doing research in Italy and I loved it. I'm just really nervous because I think my family expects me to go to CMU, because it is a good school and close to extended family, and my parents are planning to move back to Pittsburgh. I also had an Uncle who went to CMU and I love the campus whenever I go to visit for fencing tournaments.

Sorry I was rambling. I don't know what to do because I feel a lot is expected of me.
