Help!!!NYU ED2!!

Hi Guys, I am sincerely seeking your advice here.

I submitted my supplement to NYU with my signature of ED Agreement form, and my dad signed it as well.

I haven’t gotten my counselor to sign my ED agreement.

However I am having second thoughts now. Not because NYU is not great or anything else, but I just got into Uchicago. So I do not want to do ED to NYU.

The completed Early Decision Agreement will be submitted by my counselor after my counselor and parent have read and signed their respective components, but my counselor does not sign it yet. So, the ED agreement does not take effect, or is it still a ED application?

If it is still a ED application, can I withdraw it right now?How?

will my act affect my chances of admissions during RD?

If you’ve submitted your application as ED, but want to change it to RD or withdraw it completely then I would contact the admissions office at NYU and let them know. Also email or call your counselor and ask them to ignore the ED Agreement if it’s no longer necessary.

I can’t say how this will affect your chances, but I can’t imagine it would affect them that drastically.

My counselor won’t sign her name.
So, I still can change the application by calling them, right?
