<p>Yes, it would probably put you at a disadvantage to state that you have no particular interest in any program that Cornell is offering. Why are you applying to Cornell in the first place?</p>
<p>You should take a look at their programs, pick 1 or 2, and write about them. Just consider it a creative writing assignment, no one is going to hold you to do whatever you write about in this essay.</p>
<p>i’m interested in engineering, I just don’t have a specific engineering branch in mind. And I followed by saying that I will be open to discovering the various programs to see which suits you best, and a little extra along that line.</p>
