Help on improving ACT English and Reading?

I am taking the ACT on March 4th and I only took my first practice test today and got really lopsided scores.
I took form 59C

English: 22
This score was horrible for me even though grammar is not my forte. I did not know how to do the majority of the comma/semi-colon problems. This was really low for me and I even got a 610 in SAT writing...

Reading: 30
This was somewhat decent for me. I am better at reading than writing and I used to read a lot.

Math: 36
I am just better at math and science than other subjects and I blazed through the math section in 30 minutes. I think I don't need to study much.

Science: 34
I screwed up really badly and bubbled in the wrong bubble after getting the correct answer in my head. I guess I should put a check next to the correct answer next on the booklet.

Composite: 31

I know that reading is not something that is easily improved, but I believe my English score can be improved dramatically after learning some grammar rules. Can anyone please tell me some grammar books/rules to go over?

Just a hint, the answers is almost never semicolon.
