Hey all, I’d appreciate some advice for the essay topic “Please briefly elaborate on one of your extracurricular activities or work experiences”. I’m having trouble deciding between two prompts. For an extracurricular, I am the president of a math honor society and we host our own math competition for elementary students. It’s been extremely successful and we have over 200 kids participate in the competition. My work experience is tutoring college students in calculus (my employer is my local university) and I absolute love seeing my tutees learn and progress. Which would do you think would be more interesting to colleges? I plan on majoring in mathematics (if that’s useful information).
