Help on test decision?

I was at first planning on taking Math II and US History (5 on the AP exam), but I was thinking about applying to MIT and I need a science test. I will have to apply Early since I am a recruited athlete and the coach only supports through early decision, so I plan on taking the tests in October. I am taking Math II regardless, but I want to know whether you guys think I should take the Bio or Chem exam, and whether I should allocate all my studying to getting a good score (only need 700+) on the math and science tests, or whether I should try to take the two aforementioned tests plus history. Also, I didn't know if any of you guys could recommend one science test over the other. I took AP chem last year and it was pretty shaky and our class was rushed to cram everything in. I was amazed when I got a 4 on the exam. I never had a good grasp on the material. On the otherhand, I took honors bio my freshman year and got an A (not very challenging) and I have done some practice questions on the CB website for it and I seemed to recall most of it. I am also considering the fact that if I prep for the SAT II, I will get be at advantage in the AP bio class I am taking next year. Is one test easier than the other to get a score over 700? And if so how hard?

So basically:
Should I take just Math II & a science or Math II & a science & US (looking at some ivies too and might want a saftey score in case I bomb math or science)?
Which Science test is easier to get over 700?

Thanks in advance everyone!

It seems you’re pretty strong in U.S., but I would focus on getting 750+ on the science sat II. The easiest is Physics followed by chem and bio, granted this also depends on your past experience with these subjects. You need to take practice tests for both chem and bio and see which one you want to take. You also take US as long as you won’t overload yourself, also, don’t not study for that because you got a 5, I took the US SAT II and the AP weeks apart, and I got 680 and a 5.

I feel like if you are stronger in math, do chem but review it extensively. If it’s a weaker subject for you, do bio. The benefit of bio is a lot of it is memorization, and like psychology, some of the terms you can work out even if you don’t know them by using prefixes or prior knowledge.

Do Math II, Biology E or Biology M, and U.S. History. Math II has a very lenient curve, 15% of test takers get an 800. Biology is just memorization. Do the molecular or ecological component depending on which one you think you will perform better on test day. You will be allowed to look at both sections when taking the test, but you’re allowed to only answer one. And since you got a 5 on AP U.S. History, you should take the subject test. You can get a 700+ as long as you brush up on some of the stuff you forgot.

thanks everyone. I have decided to study for the Math II, Bio and US History.
