<p>I have to write an essay about any time period in United States History, and connect it to nowadays and how far America has come since then. I want to do something I enjoy for my topic, but i'm not sure what to do! I saw an idea I liked but someone had already taken that idea, which was about propaganda and what its effect on the U.S. has been. I seem to be the only one in my class that has no idea what to write about. If you have any ideas, please help, thanks! :)</p>
<p>i dont know if this is the same as propaganda... by the Red Scare? or i mean the obvious choice could be civil right...african american, or womens rights.</p>
<p>something more creative could be philosophy related or art. you could always right about pre-1900...when America had not yet risen to world power status.</p>
<p>Talk about Middle East policy in the 80s compared to now...it's the most easiest thing to do. </p>
<p>Or something more complex can be the Great Awakenings and their similarities of the tactics that the neocons used to gain power.</p>
<p>Talk about the rise of the public education system in response to industrialization... and how today that same education system has hardly been changed, and with globalization it may be becoming America's biggest problem.</p>
