Can I include any future-guaranteed activites on my resumé? For example, i’ve played soccer from freshman year to junior year and there is no doubt that I will be playing next year (senior year). i know you’re supposed to write down things you have already accomplished on your resumé, but if I just put “Soccer (9-11),” it looks like I stopped playing in my senior year.
Im asking this because im planning to apply Early Decision in November and soccer season is in March
Listing (9-12) is fine for a spring sport you’re playing your Senior year. Also, rarely do you need to submit any resumes. The Common App has ten slots for activities. Your goal is to craft your list of ECs in the order of importance to you. You can bundle and organize appropriately. YOu don’t have to feel compelled to fill all ten slots, too
If you are planning to play soccer senior year you can say 9-12.
