<p>Well guys, happy new year to everyone.. Apps have been sent so I think now we should relax and enjoy the last semester of high school. However, I want to ask you about something.. I hope you can help me..</p>
<p>I was accepted to Babson College, but I applied to other universities too. One of the universities I also applied is McCombs at UT Austin. Considering my stats,essays and recommendations I am pretty sure I will be accepted. If my supposition it's true and I am accepted; what do you recommend me: Babson College or McCombs? Which do you think is better school? Graduated from which I would have a better job?</p>

I am from Chihuahua, Mexico ( So Austin is closer to my city)

<p>Congrats on getting into Babson College - a terrific ‘business’ school! Let’s assume you get in to UT Austin/MCombs. Wow - now you will face a choice between two schools that are essentially polar opposites - - Babson’s small new england college atmosphere compared to big UT. If you get in to UT, if you haven’t already done so you should really visit Babson to see if it’s for you. Back in the day I attended the Univ. of Maryland while my best friend graduated Babson and absolutely loved every bit of it and has done very well in his business career as have his peers. We visited each other during our differing break schedules and always discussed the differences between a huge state university and a small college and appreciated what both brought to the table - a lot depends upon your comfort level of school size and where you feel you can excel.</p>

<p>And like you said, enjoy this last semester!! - my son has completed all his applications: Pitt (accepted) and will be awaiting word from: UT Austin, UGeorgia, Clemson, U Maryland, U Virginia and U So. Carolina (safety).</p>

Yeah Babson is indeed a great school, just that I cannot visit it, 'cause it is too far from home(Mexico).I think that is the reason why I maybe prefer UT austin,also I have some friends living there but well I think I should wait until Ut Austin decisions come out… </p>
<p>About your friend that graduated from Babson, what major/career did he studied? And what kind of job does he have?</p>
