Help or hurt chances??

<p>I was wondering if coming from a school where a high percentage of graduates go on to ivies would be an advantage in gaining admittance to an ivy or if coming from a school with very few graduates going on to ivies be better?</p>

<p>At my school very few graduates have ever gone to ivies. The closest we've had in the past five years was one student going to Duke. My school isn't even that tiny either (about a 1000 students).</p>

<p>Presumably if there is a high percentage going to Ivies then it is a feeder school which means the colleges know what to expect. That would be more of an advantage.</p>
