What are the chances.... ?

I go to a public high school with around 3,500 students.
In my class alone there are around 1,100 students.
I was reading some posts and came accros "Ivy League Distribution." The posts gave stats for students from their high schools that got accepted to Ivy Leagues. I assumed these were all students from private high schools, since the numbers were really low.
Will i even be considered?
I'm ranked somewhere around 70/1,100.
Also: Do you know where I can find these statistics (# of my high school's students accepted to Ivy Leauges)?

I think the only way to learn how many kids from your high school have been accepted into Ivies is to ask your guidance counselor. Or maybe your school's website states it?

Also, I really don't think you have to worry about your chances in this particular regard. A lot of people are from public schools, and they get into Ivies. I already know four people from my school (which is public) who got into one of the Ivies ED.

My school has 2500 or so people. Last year a girl got into Harvard and another into Stanford. Both full scholarship. Right now, we have four people at Harvard. Dunno about the rest of the schools.
