HELP PLEASE! Jan SATs On Time?

Okay, I messed up my Oct SATs and am not registered for Nov. I want to retake. So if I retake on Dec 4th and write subject tests in Jan, will the Jan scores be on time?

Or would you recommend taking subject tests on Dec and SAT I in January?

Are there certain colleges that allow Jan Subject Tests but not Jan SAT I test?

Help appreciated.

I’m also in a dilemma regarding the December and January tests. Is it wiser to retake the SAT I in December and then do the SAT II in January, or do the SAT II in December and then retake the SAT I in January? (I’m also not registered for the the Nov. tests)

Colleges vary, many take only through Dec tests, and then many take Jan tests, so you need to check particular college.

Well, I’m interested in Cornell. Didn’t find anything online…can somebody help?

This is what Cornell says on its site:

“For regular decision, we recommend that you take tests by December. Applicants are welcome to submit scores from the January test date, but again, we cannot guarantee that we will receive the scores before making a decision.” Go to: http://www.admissions.cornell.edu/announcements/index.cfm

If you therefore want Cornell to get your scores from Jan and have highest chance of their being considered, you should designate Cornell as one of your free sends on the Jan test to automatically receive scores when they are released. Why do that? In that situation CB actually sends those scores, meaning puts them in Cornell’s on-line file with CB, one to to two days before the scores are even released to you, and then receipt simply depends on when Cornell goes in and downloads which will probably be somewhere very close to the official score release date.

Thanks a lot!
