Help please!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so nervous about starting high school next year. Is there anything I can do to prepare for both high school and, once I'm there, university? There are no AP courses where I'm going to go! o_O

Thx to anyone who replies!

Don’t worry about not taking AP’s freshman year, it’s not how many you take in your HS career, it’s how many did you take out of what was offered. Out of the advice I could possibly give, I would say read. Read what you like and maybe try the more classical literature if you have the time. Maybe start looking ahead for SAT/ACT prep because that will always help you. If you like, possibly start looking at colleges on review sites, ect. It’s one of my greatest hobbies. :)

Don’t try to push yourself too hard. The most important thing is maintaining good grades for your current classes so they will balance out the slight drop in GPA that most will experience once AP’s are in the picture. Don’t push yourself too hard, know your limits. I don’t know the meaning of fun and that really damages my mental health. Plus, if you work your butt off too much, you WILL burn out crazily at the end of the year…like me. Heh.

I’m only a year ahead of you, so this is purely my experience of nothing beyond the first year. I would also suggest finding two or three extracurriculars that you genuinely enjoy doing, community service, ect.

omg heres a chance to be perfect

1) Get straight A’s always no excuses, always remeber no matter how hard you think a class is, there is 8 yr old in China taking 10 times harder class and if he does not get an A he is a failure.

2) join every honor society your school has and try to be president of as many as possible by senior year

3) pick a sport and stick to it so you are captain by jr year

4) you will open up so many options for college

5) in HS the internet is your friend, and spark notes is you bffl not just for english class but for all subject

6) start studying for you SAT as soon as you take algebra and geometry
