Help Please

Hi, I am a high school junior.
With a 3.5 GPA uw so far, and am expecting to increase it to at least 3.7 uw by the end of my junior year.
I currently have approximatley an 1800 on my SATs , but hopefully by June will attain a 2000. Breakdown of current scores is : 660 M 560 CR 620 W
I know, i need to get the critical reading score higher. I will probably also increase my math score.
My ECs are not so strong;
9th grade - Volleyball (Varsity)
Tutoring Program
10th grade - Volleyball (Varsity)
Debate Team
Tutoring Program
11th Grade - Student Government ( Vice President )
Volleyball

and thats it so far.
I have had to babysit my siblings while my parents were away and never had too much time for any after school activities.
Now, I dont know if that will affect my chances of getting into a good college.

I was hoping someone would recommend me some good colleges to apply to. I am looking for a college in the northeast, within a 4-5 hour drive from NYC.
I am planning on majoring in something to do with business, but i have not made up my mind yet. I just know that i want to do something in business.
Thanks . anything will be appreciated =)

Siena College in Loudonville, NY would be a match and has a good business program. Bentley a good business school in Boston would be a match or slight reach.

Colleges will understand that you might have responsibilities (like babysitting, or a job) that would interfere with traditional extracurriculars. All they want to see is that you're doing something productive with your time. Babysitting counts.

Any other suggestions on school ? (=

narrow it down. do you prefer a city school or a rural school? do you care if its 20,000 students versus 2,000 students? and so forth.

Does your school have a DECA club? This is a great club for HS kids interested in business and there are many scholarships available through the club too. There are state and national business competitions in all kinds of business events. You might really like it and add to your EC list too.
