HELP? Priority waitlist...

Yea, the woman I spoke to seemed encouraging and said that priority only went to a small group that wouldn't disqualify me from the running no matter how things turned out in turns of waitlist reversals.

Im really hoping to reverse this decision, they said that they waitlisted 200-300 students on average per year (this year was no exception) and that only a certain percentage of those waitlistees actually pursue the waitlisting option.

So once you eliminate the people who didn't accept the waitlist, your left with a smaller group of people that depending on how yielding turns out... leaves you with a significant chance of getting in.

But I could be horribly wrong too.

If they really do only put 200-300 on the waitlist, and they have accepted up to 175 from their, and not everyone accepts, that would be a really good chance. I’m just hoping that some recent achievements of mine (All-Conference in basketball, named to several All-Academic, leadership things, etc.) help.
