Help put my mind at ease about AP score reporting?

Hi everyone!

I hope this is a silly question and someone can put my mind at ease.

This year was my first year taking AP's. After taking them, I was freaking out because I felt poorly about my performance and writing format. I came crying to the school AP counselor, asking about possibly cancelling my scores.

I got my score report in the mail today, and low and behold, I got all 5's! :)

I never personally submitted a form, or paid any fee, to cancel them. I just talked about it as an option with the AP director and requested that my scores not be sent to my college of choice (which according to my score report, it appears they were anyway lol).

Are my scores safe? Since I got my score report without error, have my scores been stored?

Thanks a bunch!

If you got a score report, that would sound like you’re fine and they weren’t cancelled.

Thanks!
I appreciate your reassurance
