I am a transfer student, and was admitted to USF's accounting major.I visited the school and it seemed fine to me. However, how is USF's reputation? How is the outlook after graduation?
On the other hand, I am still waiting a decision from UPENN-Wharton and USC-Marshall. If I get denied from both schools and decide to attend USF for one year, and transfer AGAIN my junior year. Will my credentials look horrible after I graduate? Please keep in mind that USF will be my second school. I spent my freshmen year at Penn State (trust me, it was awful). Your inputs are greatly appreciated.

USF is a VERY long way down from Wharton and a long way from Marshall. Hold out1

Coolant, Just out of curiosity why did you not like Penn State?

Penn State-Smeal is MUCH more respected than USF.

and wait for wharton and usc

I would hold out for Penn, but the gap between USF and USC isn't that huge, and USF has a more pleasant environment between several great SF neighborhoods. USF has very good networking opportunities, it has a strong international network.

If you want to go back to southern California though, USC clearly is a better choice.

I wouldn't worry at all about the number of tranfers. It's where you get your degree than matters.
