Hey guys, I got into UCSD and UCD, I’m so happy!!! I was looking over my application on Davis’s myadmissions and saw that I listed all my pre-ap and AP courses, unsure of whether or not to put some down for a-g courses.
This is what I added
9th: Biology (regular-added now as lab science), color guard (half fine arts and half pe at my school-added now as visual),and art(regular-added now as visual).
10th:Art 2(regular-added now as visual), Animation(regular-added now as visual).
11th:Health, as well as Speech (added as a-g, there wasn’t a spot for non a-g;although, I meant to list it as that)
12th:PE (this course was added in my second semester, I put it in the same fashion as I did for health and speech)
I was able to do this on UC Davis’s myadmissions, and all these courses I reported above I received “A’s” in. I contacted them and they said as long as I wasn’t reporting failing grades after admissions that I should be fine.
Question: Would this be the same for UC San Diego? They weren’t as helpful at the admissions office, but I did go and click the link for admitted students on myapplication, as told by them, and filled out the “Freshmen applicant update notification form” and reported the above changes. With only 250 characters, I just entered my grade level and the course added to that grade level with its corresponding grade.
I just feel so dumb, because I reviewed my application multiple times before and now I feel like an idiot for not putting those courses listed above, is this going to effect their decision in that I’ve been admitted?
Question: If I listed non a-g courses during my update as a-g, will that effect anything as there wasn’t a spot for non a-g when making updates; although, there was initially on the application? Someone please answer, I’m so stressed.
