Good luck! I hope you ace the final. Be sure to double check everything because this teacher isn’t likely going to give you partial credit on anything.

Don’t be mean to your teacher: as you said, it’s your school’s bureaucracy, not your teacher, who is causing this trouble. If your teacher is kind enough to allow you to take the test during her vacation, she deserves respect and gratitude, even if the bureaucracy does not.

I took the test today. i aced it. To say dont be mean to your teacher…it was up to her. She could of easily aviodided the whole situation by letting me take it 2 days earlier before school ended. Not only was she unhelpful, she was extremely hostile whenever i brought up the idea of me taking it another day and today she came to me while i was taking it and yelled at me for no apparent reason. The only thing she could pick on was me wearing a college hat which i was obviously using to cheat. Iv never been so screwed over in my life. People who think otherwise you are obviously a very very messed up person who clearly does not contain any sort of sense of extenuating circumstances and whats important and wats not

I’m glad it’s fixed with a good ending. I feel for ya man.

well i missed my flight today due to traffic so i got screwed with that. This jsut made me so miserable and messed up the begining of my summer. A school shouldnt act this way and should accomodate and reach out to their students especially if they are a good one. Lets be real here. A non required math final compared to a relatives college graduation and people expect you to miss the graduation. Iv been such a mess from this haha. I couldnt even relax after i was done and i still havent.

This is a learning experience–you will have plenty of college profs and bosses in your future who will not care if you have a family function you would like to attend. If you learn to approach people in a positive, non-whiney way you may find more success. If your charms do not work, then the mature thing is to suck it up and not blame schools and teachers if you do not get your way.

As for your missed flight–you did not allow enough time for traffic, or accidents, or other everyday life occurances. Now you know to leave plenty of extra time to arrive at an airport. Life did not “screw” you, your lack of planning did. Lesson learned.

^^ Bravo Fauve.

I’m sorry your teacher did not do what she promised. However, life is not always fair, and part of maturity is learning to deal with it. My reference to your whining was to post #25.

Thank you Erin’sDad.
