<p>Will sending in 680 Math Level 2 and 560 Chemistry subject test scores hurt my chances at getting into the UC schools? I have about average statistics other than this (2030 SAT). Help me out, I'm not sure if I need to retake these or if they're fine.</p>

<p>Look, if they’re either recommended or required for the major you’ll be applying to (e.g. engineering), then you have no choice - you have to send them. (Yes, “recommended” really means “required.”)</p>
<p>Just do whatever is required for your major. (And, it’s just a guess, but I’d bet that if you’re applying for a major that does not require them, they wouldn’t be considered even if you do send them.)</p>
