My top school I want to go to is UNC at Chapel Hill. As of now for Senior year I will be taking: AP Biology, AP Physics, AP/Honors English, Honors Visual Art, AP Computer Science and finally Honors Calculus. AP Calculus is also an class available but I don’t know if I’ll be able to handle it considering my workload for next year. But my biggest concern is if I don’t take AP Calculus, will I still be to have a chance at UNC? Please help!!!
What type of person are you? Personally, I found AP Calc AB to be much easier than Honors Pre-Calc. The material is relatively simple and formulaic, and the AP exam requires an extremely low raw score to get a 5. Also, it depends on your planned major.
I’m currently doing fine in Pre-Calculus I just don’t know if its worth it with all the other classes I decide to take. My planned major in college would be either pre-med, bio/chemistry.
