I am moving schools next year...
Private or Public?

Public, this school has good facilities, has AP and IB programs, and many clubs

Private, number 1 school in BC, lots of clubs, only has AP calculus, so i am a bit worried about that. and you aren't allowed to take summer school, and no morning or afterschool blocks. but im thinking, because it is the number 1 school in BC, would the courses be already challenged? but if i go to the public school, i can take morning and afternoon classes, and summer school and get ahead.
but this private school will give be a terrific education, and you get to wear a uniform which would be so awesome.

i have only have 3 days! HELPPPP

do private schools have a better chance to getting admitted into a good university?

Public if it is highly ranked on Newsweek, otherwise got to the private school, but honestly a private education is ridiculous expensive, and an IB education is just as good if not better.
AP Calculus... AB or BC?
Math HL = 1,000,000,000 times better

Umm... honestly your chances are about the same.

Go to the school you will be happiest in. Rankings will only tell you so much.

Personally, I was in a private school for grade 10, and then transferred back into the public system for grades 11/12. While the private school I was at was and still is ranked in the top 3 in the province for the last few years, and had resources that arguably rival the public school I'm now at, it wasn't the right place for me. The public school offered far more options in the way of courses and extracurriculars, simply because it was bigger, and therefore could justify offering more (i.e. at the private school, there were maybe 200 students in grades 10-12, whereas at the public, there are 2000+) While the private offered AP, I didn't feel challenged enough, and switched to IB at the public.

Oh wait BC lol British Columbia. Good luck with Newsweek rankings there lol. Honestly I would go to the public school but that is just me.

this private school is about 6000 dollars which is cheaper than the ones in the same neighborhood, and also number 1 in bc

For 6k and a #1 ranked school it might be worth it. It sounds like you might be leaning toward the private school, and you should definitely go with your gut feeling.

I agree, go with your gut feeling. If you can see yourself being happy and challenged at the private school, and financially it's an option, then go for it. All I want to point out is that rankings aren't everything, and not all private schools are better than all public schools.
