help to attend penn previews?

i just got a likely letter and am obviously excited/thrilled/still shocked...and they invited me to attend penn previews. however, i live a $500 plane ride away from philly and my family cant afford that right now. someone suggested that i talk to the admissions rep from my area and explain the situation since im really interested in going. does anyone else have a similar problem and know if penn offers some kind of help with this???

I have no idea if Penn gives out $ for penn previews, but I have a feeling they don't because its not absolutely necessary to attend them. You might ask around, but don't get your hopes up to high.

btw, congrats on the likely letter

If you search this forum for preview information from last year it appears that some people got their flights paid for. I don't know if they're going to continue that this year though.

There are some URM-ish programs that pay for people to visit during penn previews

thanks everyone!!

whoa I didn't know Penn gave out likely letters...I thought they didn't

Well now I'm worried. haha.

But congrats on the likely letter...don't they pay for your travel/accomodations on these things? All the colleges I got likely letters from do that.
