HELP!!! transfer advice umd (MN) to ISU (IA)

Hey everyone so I am in need of advice today.

right now I am currently a sophomore at University of Minnesota-Duluth. I am studying finance in the business program. Recently my girlfriend transferred there to study design. It got me thinking maybe I want to transfer since mostly all of my friends have transferred to U of M (flagship campus of MN).

I applied to Iowa State university and U of M Carlson school of management. My first choice would be to go to the Carlson school of management but if I don't get in I am considering ISU, were my girlfriend and a few other friends are. I talked to the counselor at ISU and if I transferred I would be right on track to graduate on time. Although I would be taking a class i already took and when I study abroad this summer, those credits will only be counted as electives, well some of them. If I stayed at UMD there is a possibility of me graduating a semester early if everything goes right.

I guess my question is, would it be worth it to transfer to ISU? Is there business school better than UMD's (it did say they were in the top 100, (ISU)) and do more companies hire from UMD or at ISU? Is it even still worth it to transfer if I may be retaking a certain class, and graduating in 4 years rather than 3 and a half? Also is it worth the extra money if money isn't an issue?

thanks in advance I hope someone will be able to assist me with this!
