These are the schools I have applied to:
UCLA
UCSD
Berkeley
USC
Emerson
Stanford
Chapman

Emerson, Stanford, Chapman- I have fulfilled my language requirements (3 years of French in high school).
UCLA, UCSD, Berkeley, USC- I require one college semester of French 2 to satisfy language course requirements.

In my final semester I am taking French 2, but I am struggling like crazy- as in failing...
I have a 4.0 Cum. GPA and can't bear it! So I am considering dropping French 2, adding Spanish 1 for this semester, and adding Spanish 2 as a summer course. (I speak Spanish fluently so it will be easier.)

I have contacted the schools and here are their responses:
Emerson, Stanford, Chapman- It is fine, so long as I update them. It "usually" does not affect wether or not you are admitted.
UCSD- It is fine. I can request "Partial IGETC certification", meaning I will complete French 2 or Spanish 2 at SD. Or, I can take Spanish 2/French 2 over the summer.
UCLA, Berkeley, USC- I am still awaiting response.

I will be seeing my counselor today, but really am looking for words of wisdom, knowledge or encouragement!

Thank you
