Hello,
I just about to complete my freshman year at WSU. I am predental and a microbiology major. I got a 3.9 my first semester and I am about to have a 4.0 this semester. I took 9 AP classes and all of my credits transferred over so I am almost a junior. I worked in a research lab and have a research internship this summer. Everything seems perfect right? I am on the right track to get into dental school..the only problem is the atmosphere at WSU is driving me insane. I am not a party girl. I cannot handle being in a small city. WSU was not my first choice when applying to schools last year. My parents forced me to come here because they live close by and they didn't want me to live in Seattle by myself. They also thought UW would be too competitive. After multiple visits to WSU my parents were horrified by the atmosphere and finally agreed to let transfer but now I am torn. I am a highly motivated person and spend a lot of time studying but I have heard it is basically impossible to be successful at UW. Would I be risking my resume greatly by transferring to a school I would be happier at? Is this a risk worth taking? Also Seattle U is very expensive..but thoughts?
