I am still trying to decide where I want to go to college. I received an excellent scholarship from Thomas College, and was accepted into a program that allows me to get my BA in 2.5 years and an MBA in 9 months. If I go this route, I want to attend law school afterwards. How will this look to competitive/selective law schools? Does it look as a good as per say a selective four year institution such as a LAC? Or significantly worse because it is not a top rated school?
Law schools won’t care about your school, just your GPA. 2.5 years is short though, and you may not have time to have an internships in a law office. Seeing what the actual practice of law is like is an essential step in deciding on going to law school.
The exact ranking of a school shouldn’t matter, although I’d think that you’d have more resources at a more selective school.
