<p>Should I go to University of Virginia or University of Maryland-College Park?</p>
<p>Keep in mind I got into the Scholars Program at Maryland, both schools are for engineering, and UVA is like 25K/yr more. But I kinda like UVA more!!! How do I convince my parents?!?!</p>

<p>uva is really awesome. convince your parents that happiness is the most important factor of all, and you wont be able to study well somewhere where you won’t be happy</p>
<p>Congrats on getting into UVA–UVA is a public ivy and on par with other top Public schools such as Mich, W & M and Chapel Hill. Its degree will carry more weight than Maryland.</p>
<p>I agree with Faline. It is impossible to justify an extra $100K when you have such an excellent option.</p>
