Thanks for at least opening this. I'm trying to decide if i should even bother keeping my name on the Georgetown waitlist or simply enroll at Vanderbilt. I love both schools, and am aware that both have tough (grade "deflation"? maybe?) science programs. Can anyone help me out?

Don't worry about grade inflation; medical schools know which schools tend to have lower GPAs assuming they're fairly well-known institutions (and both Vandy and G'town are).

I think Vanderbilt's better both academically and socially, although you may wish to keep your name on the Georgetown wait list just in case you change your mind. I don't think Georgetown accepts that many people off its wait list though.

I would go to Vandy- so much more fun! And I think its academics are a little more highly regarded (but obviously they're both great- congrats by the way)

thank you so much
