help w/ "where did your parents go to college" question

<p>My dad attended two different colleges for a while, but both were for part time b/c he got a job offer and was working there...then he dropped out to work full time, and now still works for that company...he jokes that he probably got as many credits as a college freshman or maybe sophmore...</p>

<p>So I am confused at how to fill out the question for what education he got...high school, some college? and there is only room on the commapp for one college, but he attended 2 for a short period each...what do i do?</p>

<p>Also, since my mom didn't go to college and my dad barely went, am I a first generation college student? Is this helpful at all? Its not like my dad's got a blue collar job though, he's a stockbroker and makes a little over $100,000/yr.</p>

<p>I have a similar question. My mom has multiple graduate degrees from multiple schools, do I just put one of them down?</p>

<p>The US Dept of Ed defines “first generation” college student as “neither parent had more than a HS education”.</p>

<p>fhg, Just list her terminal (highest) degree.</p>
