HELP! What looks best?

Basically i'm a junior in high school right now. Im trying to decide which classes I should take senior year and i really only want to limit myself to 6. The classes i want to take are:

ASB
AP Lit
AP Psychology
AP Gov/Econ
AP Stats
Chinese 4

HOWEVER, I was thinking maybe I should take anatomy because 4 years of a science looks good. ASB, AP Lit, AP Psych, and AP Stats are staples... But if i do that i either have to drop Chinese 4 or AP gov. So what looks best:

Drop Chinese 4 for Anatomy
Drop AP Gov for Anatomy (i can take regs gov during summer)
Drop Anatomy completely and leave classes as they are

Either way I lose a 4th AP class, a 4th year in science, or a 4th year in language.

So whats the best option? ...

What do you think you would major in? (It’s OK if you don’t know, but something general like sciences or humanities would be helpful.)

If I were in your shoes, I would drop government because I’m a math/science guy, so another year of science would be better for me, and I like languages more than social sciences. But if you like humanities or social sciences, then maybe Chinese and government would be better choices.

Oh, god.

Look, I get that you’re nervous and you want to get into a good school, but constantly asking yourself these questions does nothing but suck out your soul.

Repeat after me: it doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter.

Then take the class you want to take.

I would not drop Chinese or AP Gov. Also, if you can, i would take AP Calc instead of Stat. That will definitely look better.

what the **** is ASB O_o
IMO, drop Gov, you already have 3 AP classes
and take Calc instead of Stat, so you have 2 challenging AP classes at least

ASB = Associated Student Body = student government.

What do you like least–Chinese, Science, or Government?

Then don’t take that class.

honestly, i don’t think it’ll make a significant difference; take the one that looks most interesting, a. because then you’ll have a better experience, and b. you’ll be able to succeed better in the class that you have a passion for, and doing well in your classes is more important to colleges than what specific ones you take. if you don’t really want to take science, 3 years is good enough as long as you’re challenging yourself in other areas.

If you want AP credit in college, it’s best to take AP courses that won’t be in your major. Many of the good schools will give you AP credit for the class, but then require you to take a replacement. In other words, the AP credit will be as an elective, not as a requirement for your major. So if you plan to major in science then don’t take the AP science, but if you plan to major in literature, then take the AP science and you won’t have to take science in college. Understand?
