HELP - when to withdraw apps?

I got in ED 2 in mid Feb, but my financial aid package wasn't announced to me (unofficially) until mid-March. I just heard back from some UCs (Of course I am going to decline them right away). I have 2 more colleges, Pitzer and Stanford.

Pitzer sent the package today and Stanford will post it online. Should I just leave everything and decline all offers or should I withdraw Stanford right now?

P.S. I sent out my commitment form 2 days ago and I still haven't received the OFFICIAL financial aid package.

Don’t withdraw any possibilities until you have everything official in writing and can make your decision. Once you accept an offer you should withdraw your other applications.

MD Mom: I did send out my commitment form already… so basically it is saying that I am committed to my college. I just think that it’s so close to decision release time I can just decline everything.

You need to withdraw your apps immediately. There’s still time to do that. Otherwise, it’s possible that your ED school will learn that you didn’t do that, and may withdraw your acceptance.

Northstarmom:Ok I’m going to withdraw from Stanford right away. I can’t help that Pitzer College had sent out its decisions. Is that ok? I’m in the process of declining all other offers.

For Pitzer, you need to make sure that they know you won’t be matriculating there.
