Does anyone here know of any universities that will be good for a student transferring from an American community college?

I am studying International Relations and would like a university that will cost me under $25,000 to attend. I don't mind if it's outside the US (or anywhere in the US).

Or, if anybody knows of a way I can fund my education here besides taking loans, that will be greatly appreciated!

So you come to America to attend community college without a plan for future?

actually, my plan was to transfer to a university here but it turns out they are too expensive for me :(

There are VERY MANY universities that you can attend under 25,000/year as an international student. Check schools in states like, Minnesota, South Dakota, Alabama, Kentucky, Oklahoma, etc. In addition, you might qualify for a good amount of scholarship and grant from private colleges as well. So when applying, use a combination of private and public universities, and wait to see what each school offers you and them make your decision based on all the factors that you will want from a college including the Cost of Attendance.
Best of luck to you.

You’ve discovered something very few people mention who extoll community colleges to encourage international students to apply from abroad: while going to a community college for 2 years is less expensive than going to a 4-year university, there is no (or virtually no) financial aid for international transfers. Therefore, you need to find some public universities that are cheap for internationals or may still offer some transfer scholarships to lower your costs.
UMN Morris has special scholarships for international transfers; Truman State, South Dakota School of Mines, some of the SUNYs such as NYIT, SUNY New Paltz, SUNY Oswego… are rather cheap; SUNY Plattsburgh has scholarships on some conditions (contact them); if you attended a Florida Community college you may get a discount at some Florida public universities.
Plus the list above. :)

U can try looking at universities in Indiana or the California State universities or maybe Texas. I think there should be a transfer counselor in your community college. U should have a talk with that person and do some research yourself. You should find out in which universities are ur credits transferable. Who has scholarships available and such. Hope this helps.

Nope, California universities will not be under $25K
