Help! Will I get in?

So Fordham at LC is my absolute first choice! I want major in either history or international relations.

My GPA is a 3.2 (I did really bad in my science classes, but i did well and took challenging classes in History English and Math)

SAT- 1890 (taking them again in november)
SATII- taking them in december (USHist & Lit)

AP US History (school does this class over two years) - 5 on AP exam
AP Gov & Pol
most other classes are honors

Both my AP US & AP Gov & Pol teachers are writing my recc's

I have been working extremely hard on my essay and strongly believe it can sway an admissions decision.

EC's
-I did a summer Journalism program at Fordham RH
-Founded my HS diving team- Varsity all three years- Captain Senior Year
-Month long mission trip teaching kindergarten in Ghana
-Model UN - SOCHUM committee
-Chamer Choir (three years)- toured Canada in 2009
-On the board of Crisis Ministry (Trenton NJ) walk-a-thon (raised over $5,000)
-I tutor adults trying to get their GED at Trenton Soup kitchen
- also did a church summer comm. service camp where i cooked and served at the same soup kitchen
-I have been in over 6 plays though out high school

I have been to visit the campus many times, I am going to the "Dean day", and i have met an admissions councilor at my school.

PLEASE! if you have any thoughts let me know!

+: Your EC’s/volunter experience look good. You show interest in Fordham (summer program, campus visits).
-: Low GPA, Somewhat low SAT score, assuming you probably did not do well on the Math section, and your Writing section probably brought you up. What is your breakdown on the SAT (Math and Reading)?

I’d say you have a 50/50 shot at Fordham. More and more students are applying each year (Last year alone, Fordham received 32,000 applications, placing them top 20 in the country). This year, it will probably rise to 35,000 application. If you had applied a few years ago with those stats when Fordham used to get around 20,000 applications, you’d probably definitely get in. I still think you have a chance though. Good luck!
